A Visual Representation of Time Passed

There are many things in the world that indicate the passing of time and show history. The natural landscape is definitely one of those many things. Something that has become increasingly interesting to me are these natural places that are a visual representation of time that has passed and history. For A Visual Representation of Time Passed I visited places that came to mind when I thought about these ideas. I photographed these places in a way that the passing of time is visibly shown.

At these locations, there is more than just the visible passing of time, there is also a history as to why these natural landscapes are the way that they are. One goal for this series is to think about the places I explore and the history that they show, while also being cautious of the impact I leave behind, as each has been impacted by humans. So not only is this showing the natural history, but the history of humans in these places.
